An interview with Warren Buffet

There was a one hour interview on CNBC with Warren Buffet, the second richest man in the world who has donated $31 billion to charity. Here are some very interesting aspects of his life:

巴菲特（Warren Buffet）是世上第二位最富有的人，他曾捐贈三百一十億元給慈善團體。他在CNBC接受了一小時的採訪，以下是他人生中一些有趣的事情。

1) He bought his first share at age 11 and he now regrets that he started too late!
十一歲時他買了第一手的股票，今天他卻遺憾自己開始得太遲。

2) He bought a small farm at age 14 with savings from delivering newspapers.
十四歲時用自己派報紙儲下來的錢買了一個小農場。

3) He still lives in the same small 3 bedroom house in mid-town, that he bought after he got married 50 years ago. He says that he has everything he needs in that house. His house does not have a wall or a fence.
他依然住在那間有三個睡房的小屋，沒有圍牆也沒有籬笆。就是五十年前結婚時所買下的那一間，他說那裏擁有一切他所需要的。

4) He drives his own car everywhere and does not have a driver or Security people around him.
無論往何處，他都會自己駕駛，沒有司機，身邊亦沒有保鏢。

5) He never travels by private jet, although he owns the world's largest Private jet company.
雖然他擁有世界上最大的私人飛機公司，他卻從來不會乘搭私人飛機。

6) His company, Berkshire Hathaway, owns 63 companies. He writes only One letter each year to the CEOs of these companies, giving them goals For the year. He never holds meetings or calls them on a regular basis.
他的Berkshire Hathaway公司擁有屬下六十三間公司，但他從不與這些公司的總裁開例會或常規性地致電給他們。只是每年寫一封信，給他們訂下目標。

7) He has given his CEO's only two rules. Rule number 1: do not lose any of your share holder's money. Rule number 2: Do not forget rule Number 1.

8) He does not socialize with the high society crowd. His past time after hegets home is to make himself some pop corn and watch television.

9) Bill Gates, the world's richest man met him for the first time only 5 years ago. Bill Gates did not think he had anything in common with Warren Buffet. So he had scheduled his meeting only for half hour. But When Gates met him, the meeting lasted for ten hours and Bill Gates became a devotee of Warren Buffet.
世界首富Bill Gates在五年前才第一次與他見面。Bill Gates認為自己與Warren Buffet沒有甚麼共通點，因此計劃好只與他會面半小時。但當Bill Gates見了他後，這一次會面竟持續了十小時，而且Bill Gates更變成了Warren Buffet的擁護者。

10) Warren Buffet does not carry a cell phone, nor has a computer on his desk.
Warren Buffet 不攜帶手機，書桌上亦沒有電腦。

11) His advice to young people: Stay away from credit cards and invest in yourself.
他對年青人的忠告是：遠離信用卡，把投資放在你自己身上。
